The Planning Committee of the 2005 DC Baha’i Congress just announced that registration for the annual conference is opening up on August 1st. On top of that, they’re offering a $20 introductory registration fee for anyone who registers within the first 55 hours. I don’t know about you, but I think that’s insanely cheap for any conference, let alone one that packs in as much as the DC Congress.

This year’s program include several distinguished Baha’i leaders as well as Smith and Dragoman, a Canadian Baha’i band whose popularity is steadily growing.

Judging from last year’s success, I have a feeling that spaces at the Congress will fill up soon (they usually don’t set a limit on the number of people, but I do know that the hall has a limit to how many people it will seat). I would suggest to anyone who’s interested in attending to register now!
