While perusing the duty free shops in Terminal 4 of London’s Heathrow Airport, somewhere between the sales girls with too much makeup and the guy who decided that he preferred a blend of EVERY cologne (and perfume) in the store, we found this:

I thought the famous “surgeon general’s warnings” on American cigarette boxes were strong, but this is something else! I don’t really understand what would possess someone to actually PAY for something that clearly states that it WILL kill them…. but it made me realize that I’m in the wrong line of business.

So before we went on our pilgrimage, Shirin and I bought a new digital SLR–the Canon EOS 20D. (My old Sony digital camera was a dinosaur–I bought it before leaving to serve in Haifa in the summer of 2000 and I thought I was SO ahead of the game with my whopping 2.0 megapixels!) Anyway, I was playing with the macro lens and took some pictures.

Okay, of all the things to write about after being away for SO long and not having written anything, furniture probably isn’t the best place to start. But I figure I’ll ease my way back into blogging. For now, check out the following catalogs (Shirin and I happen to love these):

I’m hoping that our move to Atlanta is a good excuse to furnish some of our rooms with stuff from these places. (What, you didn’t know…..?)
