Nafisto the Great

We’re here in Georgia!  Finally!  We’re all pretty exhausted from the drive down (Shirin and I and my parents) but we’re just glad to be here.  We’ll try to post some pictures in the next day or two.  For now, hello to everyone we haven’t written to recently–you’ll be getting emails from us soon.  And if you haven’t written, well, drop us a line and tell us how things are going.  We promise to be in touch once things settle down a bit!

So the days are winding down to the big move to Atlanta.  Shirin and I have been running around like mad trying to get everything set, not knowing exactly how things would work.  Luckily, we found a renter for our place (and they moved in on October 1).  Right now we’re staying at my parents’ house and we’re all planning on heading down to Georgia at the end of this month.

I guess that means that the open invitation to stay with us in DC has changed a little bit to an open invitation to stay with us in Atlanta.  We can’t wait to see you all there (but not all at once–it will take a few weeks to settle in :-)).
